MHPI Program For Museums

The museum system currently in use centers around the Better Light scannning back mounted on a tripod. Items that need to be scanned are either attached on a wall mount (see left) or placed on a special 3-D object stand (below). The wall mount approach allows high-resolution images of objects up to 30" x 40". larger objects can be scanned in two or more parts then easily assembled in a software program such as Adobe Photoshop.
